FAKHRUL Razi, inspirational Bruneian singer and songwriter, will launch his album “Mutlak” at a ceremony to be held at the Elegance Club, Bangsar in Kuala Lumpur on October 21.
This was revealed at the 9th Annual Charity Bazaar for Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, which was launched yesterday at the Berakas Indoor Stadium.
Fakhrul Razi noted that the album launch in Kuala Lumpur would be on invitation only. Elegance Club is a prestigious club owned by Datuk Tracy Ong, a business tycoon and one of the region’s finest Jewellers.
“It is my aim to promote what Bruneians can do with modern music to Malaysia and Indonesia (and hopefully the world). All I can say is give Brunei and Bruneian music a chance. We might be the same, but yet, we have something unexpectedly different to share,” he was quoted recently.
Fakhrul Razi arrived from Kuala Lumpur yesterday just in time to meet his fans and show support for the Charity Bazaar and the special needs community.
Fans stormed the FRanatics booth located near the performance stage to grab a signed copy of his latest album “Mutlak” at a discounted price of $20 per copy.
Ten per cent of the proceeds will go to the Charity Bazaar.
He will continue to meet and greet fans at the three-day bazaar from 2pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 9pm today (Saturday) and Sunday.
