THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) continues to promote the Neighbourhood Watch programme at the grassroots level as it sets its sight on lowering the crime rate in the country.
In view of this, the Central Police Station yesterday hosted a meeting with penghulus and village heads of Mukim Kota Batu and Kianggeh.
The briefing was delivered by Acting Superintendent Officer of the Central Police Station, Inspector Mohammad Faizal Iswandy bin Ali Othman.
Also present were Acting Commanding Officer of the Brunei-Muara District Police, Superintendent Hussaini bin Matzin; Mukim Kota Batu Penghulu Naim bin Kamis and the acting penghulu.
Held at the Brunei-Muara District Police Operation Room, the briefing aimed to reactivate the Neighbourhood Watch programme and discuss future activities.
The meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session.
