THE MagicLee Maze, a full-on interactive gaming experience, will be featured in the Brunei Edutainment Wonderland that starts next week.
The truly unique puzzle simulation made possible with the collaboration between the D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd, event organiser of Brunei Edutainment Wonderland, and event partner MagicLee Entertainment, features three rooms depicting three unique scenarios specially designed to attract and entrap those who dare to enter. Try to escape the abandoned asylum, evade capture to earn the title of the Great Art Thief, and disappear if you can from the Hall of Magic.
“Brunei has never seen a game like this before,” said Chua Hong Yang, the founder of MagicLee Entertainment cum creator of the MagicLee Maze.
“When you are playing your favourite video games, more specifically adventure video games classics like Tomb Raider, Metal Gear and more recent ones like the Assassin’s Creed series or even the Uncharted series, have you ever imagined yourself being the main character? Well, in the MagicLee Maze you are the main character and it’s up to you to complete your goal,” shared the game creator.
He explained that what makes MagicLee Maze interesting is that each room has a unique story line that participants have to stick to it until the game ends.
“Since it’s a team-focused game the minimum requirement for each room is two participants and a maximum of seven to eight participants,” explained the game creator.
“The game requires logic, intuition and overall collaboration with your teammates and is definitely an experience participants won’t easily forget,” he added.
To play, a team of participants will be locked within a room each with a specific scenario according to the respective theme. They will have to solve a series of puzzles and riddles by observing and fully utilising each and every element found inside the rooms to try to escape within the given time limit.
Game masters and escape marshals are introduced to direct the flow of the game play throughout to add a hint of drama and boldness to the story, as well as to ensure safety.
Each of the three rooms of the MagicLee Maze has its own allocated time limit to escape, level of difficulty, and different ticket pricing for entry.
The MagicLee Maze is only one out of the many exciting attractions to be found at the Brunei Edutainment Wonderland that is set to take place at the Jerudong Park and Country Club Amphitheatre Open Court area from November 30 to December 21. It will be open from 2.30pm to 11pm from Mondays to Fridays, and 9.30am to 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Also keep your radio tuned in to Kristal FM (KFM) to stand a chance to win tickets to experience the NBT Jurassic Adventure theme park at the Brunei Edutainment Wonderland.
