MASTER the art of writing winning tender proposals at two separate workshops for ‘Customers’ and ‘Bidders’ to be held from February 9 to 11 at the Badiah Hotel in the capital.
Paul Carter Hemlin, an experienced and qualified trainer from the United Kingdom, will be brought in by CONFEX to conduct the workshops.
Paul is an international conference speaker and trainer on Commercial and Contract Management topics, having trained over 300 commercial managers in three continents. He has shaped and led large bids, negotiated, drafted and managed numerous high-value complex IT and BPO contracts, SLAs and supply-chain agreements for clients such as HP, Network Rail, EDS, Fujitsu, Siemens, Unilever and A4e at all phases of the contract lifecycle.
On February 9, Paul will be assisting ‘Customers’ in the process of writing and sending out ‘Invitations To Tender (ITT)’ in a one-day workshop for ‘Customers’.
He will also be helping ‘Bidders’, in the two-day workshops for ‘Bidders’ on February 10 to 11, to read the lines in an ITT, to assess what is important about the project being tendered and to allow them to target the customer’s key needs; with the aim to ultimately improve their success rate to win more work.
Paul said, “Most disputes arise from issues surrounding scope, payment, acceptance, criteria, performance and relationship. With many years of experience working in these areas, I look forward to share remedies with participants.”
