PORSCHE is a prominent and luxury brand that always provides authen-tic, spectacular technology and a sense of exclusivity, particularly on automobiles.
The Porsche Panamera is back with facelifts that bring even more agility and a distinctive look (both exterior and interior) that definitely catches one’s attention.
Local media personnel were recently given the opportunity to test drive the new Panamera at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium to experience firsthand its sophis-tication.
Porsche Panamera arrives with the latest technology that boosts its power performance and efficiency, as well as a brilliant and dynamic de-sign (such as a wide and aggressive stance) that reflects its sportiness.
It looks contemporary and im-pressive, while being spacious and splendidly equipped with high quality materials.
The Panamera is fitted with Bi-Xenon headlights as standard, whereby the daytime running lights have been integrated into the main headlight units in the form of four LED spotlights.
The LED taillights also appear nar-rower and slimmer for a more sporty appearance that is further achieved with the new side-skirts and the bonnet’s power dome.
To fulfil people’s preference, Porsche is also offering an extensive selection of exterior and interior colours, as well as interior and lea-ther packages among other perso-nalisation options.
In addition, it is developed with a 3.6-litre, naturally aspirated V6 engine with four overhead camshaft benefits that enable greater power output and at the same time deliver a lower rate of fuel consumption.
The Porsche Panamera’s engine generates a power output of 228 kW (310 hp) at 6,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 400 Nm at 3,750 rpm.
The result is a top speed of 259 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.
During the test drive (using both normal and sport mode), media personnel were astonished and thoroughly impressed by the new Porsche’s quiet, smooth and out-standing performance.
Steering was stable (even driving downhill) and ideal, while there were minimal vibrations when speeding up to 140 km/h.
Stability is also still felt in aggres-sive driving and firm suspension kept passengers at ease.
Such enhancements truly deserve much praise.
