WITH Chinese New Year just around the corner, Energy Kitchen, Brunei’s first truly healthy restaurant has introduced the healthy Yee Sang, which comprises 18 items.
Wu Chun, founder of Fitness Zone and Energy Kitchen, showcased the new healthy Yee Sang fish to the media on Friday.
Chef Jason Lew, Executive Chef of Energy Kitchen, has reinvented the Yee Sang dish and prepared the dish in the healthiest way possible, producing a serving of great nutritional values with natural vibrant colours.
The Yee Sang dish comprises smoked salmon, in-house crispy baked superfood flatbread chips together with seven types of fresh, handpicked vegetables and homemade tangy orange apricot sauce.
Chef Jason Lew said, “I am delighted to demonstrate that it is possible to recreate traditional dishes and make them healthy.”
Besides the Yee Sang, Energy Kitchen is also introducing another healthy special Chinese New Year dish.
Wu Chun said, “Chinese New Year is always a wonderful time for family and friends. Energy Kitchen is excited to also introduce the usual festive dishes like the five spices roasted whole chicken.”
