‘THE Missing Chattel’ is an event held prior to the official launch of ‘The Missing Endangered Species Campaign,’ carried out randomly throughout the country for 15-16 weeks starting October.
To conclude at the 20th Consumer Fair in January, the event sets its sights on raising public curiosity in the run up to the official launch of the campaign, and to bring greater impact for the launch and its future activities. At the same time it provides the public the opportunity to be part of a remarkable campaign.
D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd takes pride in having Progresif Cellular Sdn Bhd support it on this journey. As the event employs the use of minimal promotion mediums, publicity is largely driven from the general public. D’Sunlit will only be occupying a small segment of the entire publicity aspect, with mini teaser videos to be uploaded onto social media.
The Missing Chattel boasts sculptures of endangered species – namely Borneo elephants, clouded leopard, hornbill, slow loris and green turtle, placed at random locations throughout Brunei. These sculptures will be rotated every three weeks.
Members of the public who find these sculptures are encouraged to take a picture with them and upload them onto any social media platform, adding the hashtag #themissingendangered #wildlifehero.
The Missing Chattel has received support from The Mall Gadong, Times Square Shopping Centre, Supa Save (Beribi and Kuala Belait branches) and Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).
Inspired by the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF), D’Sunlit developed The Missing Endangered Species Campaign to highlight the importance of wildlife protection, to support wildlife conservation, spread awareness and inspire the public to become change makers.
Progresif Cellular joins in this meaningful adventure of rescuing the wildlife as the Protectors, becoming the main sponsor of the campaign, providing support and working hand-in-hand with D’Sunlit.
