TWO restaurants in Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) were ordered temporary shutdown after health officials found the premises’ hygiene level below par.
The restaurants in Serusop and Gadong will only be allowed to re-open once the minimum requirement of 70 per cent cleanliness is met.
The Law Enforcement Unit of the BSB Municipal Board urged owners to ensure that the cleanliness of their restaurants was up to standards at all times.
It added that its enforcement personnel would continue to conduct random inspections in the interest of public health.
