DODGEBALL is here to stay!
After more than a year since the sport was introduced in Brunei, countless tournaments have been successfully organised and the number of teams participating has also shown a steady increase.
The recent CCCT Dodgeball Tournament last weekend was jointly organised by Flexyvent Management under Cosmopolitan College of Commerce and Technology (CCCT) and dodgeball pioneers Green City Concept Sdn Bhd, together with the support of K-Mas Management and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
A total of 31 teams comprising 19 male and 12 female teams participated in the three-day tournament held from September 12 to 14 at the Airport Mall in Berakas, making it the largest Dodgeball tournament to date.
Team Eagles was crowned male champions while the champions of the female category was ND3.
The winners each received a trophy, cash prize of $500 and medals.
Laplace and Santos came in second and third respectively in the male category while Elemonator and Black Swan came in second and third in the female category.
The event was part of the CCCT Diploma in Business and Finance students’ final course project.
Organisers Green City Concepts revealed that another tournament will be held soon as a buildup for a major dodgeball tournament this December.
Details of the tournaments will be announced at a later date.
