I RECEIVED a letter from TelBru recently but it was dated October 27. The letter claimed that my previous account with an old number had an outstanding amount of $98. This account was already settled and closed in 2007. I’ve since had a new account and a new number, so I’m very annoyed that I’ve received this letter.
What infuriated me even further was TelBru saying they would take legal action if this “outstanding” bill was not settled. Can TelBru please explain how one can have an outstanding amount when the account was settled and closed seven years ago?
How can I be allowed to open a new account with a new number if I’ve not settled my old bills?
