THROUGH donations collected from a recent charity project called ‘back-to-school drop-box’, underprivileged students at Perpindahan Bukit Beruang Primary School received new school items last Wednesday.

The donations were collected through several drop boxes placed in December last year in various places in Bukit Beruang.

The project was organised by the Bukit Beruang Village Consultative Council (MPK Bukit Beruang) and Kampong Bukit Beruang Youth Association (Kesuma), and coordinated by the Women Bureau of Kampong Bukit Beruang Village Consultative Council and Women Bureau of Kesuma.

The boxes were placed at Syageqah shop in Kampong Bukit Beruang, Salam shop at Multipurpose Hall of Kampong Bukit Beruang and at the RPN Bukit Beruang Mosque.

The drop box project helped the public to donate school items including writing stationeries, school books, school bags and school attire.

The handing over of the school items will continue tomorrow at Pengiran Kesuma Negara Bukit Beruang Primary School. The school items were handed over to the students by Ahmad bin Aman, Village Head and Chairman of the MPK Bukit Beruang.
