DIPLOMATIC envoys signed condolence book yesterday at the Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jalan Muara to pay their respects following the recent passing of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
Among those who came to pay tributes were the High Commissioner of Bangladesh, Mohammed Abdul Hye; Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Victor A Seleznev; Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines, Nestor Z Ochoa; and the High Commissioner of Canada, Marina B Laker.
The condolence book was opened for signing yesterday from 11am-3pm and will be opened today and Monday, also from 11am-3pm.
In a brief interview with the Ambassador Designate of the Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Hisham bin Abdulwahab, told the media that the passing of the late King Abdullah is not only a loss to Saudi Arabia but to all Islamic nations in the world.
“We have lost a good King and a monarch of humanity. The late king won the heart of the whole world in the fight against terrorism,” he added.
