TO INSTIL confidence among the primary pupils, DES School organised a talent show at the school premises during the last day of the third term.
The event began with the singing of the National Anthem and the school song, followed by the recitation of prayer led by Cikgu Sufri bin Kalong.
In his opening remark, the school principal Bahrein bin Haji Abu Bakar highlighted the importance of confidence-building activities to develop the children’s social skills and for their educational development.
The event showcased the children’s talent in singing, dancing and other skills. The special needs pupils performed a dance for the audience. The judges of the talent show were the parents of the schoolchildren. Syasa from Year 1 Smart won the first place for the individual category, while Faris and Suleyman grabbed first place in the group category.
