HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of condolence and sympathy to Dato Laila Utama Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia, following the disastrous floods in Peninsular Malaysia.
The message stated that His Majesty and His Majesty’s government and the people of Brunei Darussalam extended their condolences and sympathy to the Prime Minister, government and people of Malaysia.
His Majesty prayed to Allah the Almighty that Malaysia would always be protected and hoped that the families of those affected by the floods would continue to have patience and fortitude in coping with the disaster.
His Majesty also sent a message of condolence to Prayuth Chan-ocha, Prime Minister of Thailand, following the recent disastrous floods that caused much destruction to properties and also resulted in the loss of lives.
The message stated that His Majesty and His Majesty’s government and the people of Brunei extended their deepest condolences and sympathies to the Thai Prime Minister and to the government and people of Thailand, especially families of the victims and those affected by the disaster.
