COFFEE Bean Brunei (CB) yesterday launched four new dishes in conjunction with the Chinese New Year (CNY).
Available only at the Panaga Supa Save outlet in Seria, the dishes are especially prepared by Chef Rey Magallanes Jr, who has been working in Brunei for over 10 years.
The first newly launched dish is the Braised Lamb Shank with a thick yet smooth texture as well as a sweet and spicy sauce mix made mainly of black pepper and chicken liver.
The second dish is the flavourful Beef Spare Ribs served with Red (Char Siu) Sauce, an appro-priate colour for the festive occasion.
The third option is the healthy Seared Tuna Saku with (Avocado-based) Guacamole, which is semi-fried to medium well-done, making for a fresh and juicy dish served with mixed vegetables.
Last but not least, the Red Snapper with Island Dip, which the chef explained is aimed at those who love the taste of traditional food (especially ‘Ikan Bakar’), features in its ingredients soya sauce, sliced chilli and onions with a hint of vinegar.
The new dishes are available daily for dine-in or pick-up as early as 6.30am and until the last call (11.45pm) from the CB’s branch in Seria.
