THE Management of PAR Food & Beverage Sdn Bhd through The Coffee Bean Brunei recently organised a ‘Tea Class’ at the Brunei Job Fair 2015 to give jobseekers a taste of what they will be learning and doing upon joining the popular franchise.
The class began with a basic introduction of tea categories widely used in the market which consists of Green Tea, Oolong Tea and Black Tea.
“We hope this class will expose jobseekers on their career path and become a tea expert after joining us,” explained Mohamad Fairuz bin Ibrahim, Training Manager of The Coffee Bean Brunei who conducted the presentation during the fair.
All teas are produced from a plant called camellia sinensis. The different varieties of teas available in the world only vary by the region it was grown, the time of year picked, and the processing method.
“Our premium teas come from all over the world. We also carry herbal infusions and fruit melange tea, which does not actually contain the camellia sinensis plant. Each type of tea has its own characteristics including a different taste and different health benefits,” he explained.
At the end of the class, The Coffee Bean held quiz sessions and those who answered correctly walked away with prizes.
