THE Coffee Bean (CBTL) supported the purpose of the Brunei Job Fair 2015 by organising a tea class in a move that exposes jobseekers to the growing food and beverage industry.
The international coffee chain introduced the basic tea categories which are widely used, namely green tea, oolong tea and black tea. All tea is produced from a plant called Camellia sinensis.
The thousands of different varieties of tea available in the world only vary by the region it was grown, the time of year picked and the processing method.
Their premium tea originated from all over the world and can be incorporated with these basic tea categories used during the class.
They also carry herbal infusions and fruit melanged tea, which is sometimes called herbal tea and does not contain the Cammellia sinensis plant.
Each type of tea has its own characteristics including a different taste and differing health benefits.
Any interested individual can find out their preferred tea by sampling some of their delicious and premium loose tea.
The CBTL also did a quiz session and those answered correctly walked away with prizes.
It was hoped that the class would benefit the jobseekers onto their chosen career path and consider the prospect of becoming a tea expert.
