THE Coffee Bean distributed free iced tea to the public during the procession to mark the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) last Saturday in the capital as part of the Caring Cup programme.
Caring Cup volunteers distributed the cold beverages as early as 8am until 11am along Jalan Sultan in front of its Maya Puri outlet and Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien.
The popular iced tea (Pomelo Iced Tea) proves to be energising, as it contains catechins, a type of antioxidant.
“For over 12 years, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has been serving our signature drinks to Bruneians, ranging from our hot drinks to the famous ice blended.
“As the country progresses, we aim to further increase our Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) initiatives through our Caring Cup programmes, for example by providing refreshments at events such as this, thus helping to ensure the event runs smoothly,” said training manager of The Coffee Bean, Mohamad Fairuz bin Ibrahim.
