THIRTY teachers from seven secondary schools from Cluster 2 participated in the three-day Whole School ICT Development (WSID) Workshop programme, which was started at the Conference Room of the Berakas Secondary School (SMB) yesterday.
The guest of honour at the event was Acting Assistant Director of ICT, Zainal Abidin bin Haji Kepli.
The workshop featured six facilitators comprising of teachers from SMB and aims to discuss the development of ICT in the schools as well as to increase ICT culture in schools and to share knowledge with teachers of each school and the students in their respective schools.
The schools which participated in the workshop include – Sharif Ali Secondary School, Pengiran Anak Putri Hajah Masna Secondary School, Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary School, Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Mentiri Secondary School, Lambak Kiri Secondary School, Pengiran Isteri Hajjah Mariam Serasa Secondary School and Berakas Secondary School – as the host school.
One of the objectives is to make the designers learning experience on WSID, to increase ICT culture in schools, make pedagogy centred learning for students and to share knowledge with teachers of each school and the students in their respective schools.
