LUIS Reign Provenido and Fatin Nabilah binti Hamdillah both won first place in the Fingerprint Tree Competition and the Paper Lantern Contest respectively. The activities were organised by Freshco at its supermarket basement for children in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year.
The Fingerprint Tree was designed to capture the uniqueness in every one of us as fingerprints are unique in every individual, while the paper lantern making encouraged children to use their creativity to create their own lanterns and beautifying it with glitters, ribbons and other ornaments.
Karleanna Fer de Guzman and Muhammad Darwisy bin Hamdillah were the second and third place winners respectively in the Fingerprint Tree Competition, while Eva and Winnie Koay Shi-Wei won second and third place respectively in the Paper Lantern Contest. Prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners at the end of the activities.
Also present to show support to the activities were the pupils of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam and other children.
Freshco is regularly conducting fun activities, not just to enhance children’s creativity but also to improve their social skills.
