THE Attorney General played host to top legal officers from Singapore yesterday, during a courtesy call at the Law Building in the capital.
The entourage, led by Chief Justice of the Republic of Singapore, Sundaresh Menon, also included six Judicial Officers from both the Supreme Courts and the State Courts of Singapore who are currently in the Sultanate for the Third Joint Judicial Conference hosted by the Supreme Court of Brunei Darussalam.
During the courtesy call – a reciprocal visit by Attorney General Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Hayati binti Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Salleh to Chief Justice Menon earlier in October during the Sentencing Conference in Singapore, the legal colleagues exchanged views on various issues and also exchanged gifts.
Also at the courtesy call were the Solicitor General, Naimah Md Ali, Legal Draftsman Alice Khan binti Ahmad Khan, and senior officers of the Attorney General’s Chambers.
