CCC BSB reveals remaining 5 office-bearer nominees for new session

THE remaining five office-bearer nominees for the 41st Session of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Bandar Seri Begawan (CCC BSB) were revealed yesterday following a successful meeting held by the members of the election sub-committee of the Chinese business association.

The nominees are: Pang Eng Guan, Tan Kah Boon, Tan Wee Tong, Lim Tiong Hin and Lo Wan Yee @ Alex.

Present to hold discussions and nominate the five new office-bearers were Malcom Lim Peh Beng, head of the election sub-committee for the 41st Session of the CCC BSB, along with Tan Guan Siong, Lee Chung Keng, Lim Teck Hock, and other members of the committee.

On October 2, the names of 29 nominees were announced following a week-long voting period and tallying of votes for the election of office-bearers to the CCC BSB’s 41st session.

These 29 nominees (with accompanying votes tally) were: Lim Peh Beng (4), Tan Guan Siong (4), Lim Ting Guan (4), Lee Chung Keng (3), Lim Teck Hock (3), Yeo Hong Pow (3), Lim Ting Chai (3), Lew Yin Chiang (3), Sim Wee Siang (2), Lim Eng Leong (2), Lee Eng Ching (2), Ong Jin Tiong (2), Lim Eng Hsin (2), Tang Soon Wan (2), Koh Kok Pang (2), Soon Seng Lee (2), Chan Kong Fong (1), Sng Teck Ann (1), Chan Kwang Khoon (1), Ong Teck Soon (1), Ting Tiaw Khing (1), Lim Tiong Tin (1), Lim Hong Seong (1), Tan Gian Ming (1), Pao Ping Seng (1), Goh Kim Tian (1), Lim Soon Ling (1), Mak Pok Yee (1) and Kuan Kim Geok (1).

Another meeting will be convened to nominate 10 ordinary members of the session.
