HENRY Cavill wants to play Superman for “many years to come”. The 31-year-old actor will don the famous red cape for a second time in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ – the sequel to ‘Man of Steel’ – and he insists he has no intention of walking away from the DC Comics franchise anytime soon.
Speaking to website TheAnglophileChannel, he said: “I love the character. I love working with Warner Bros and what they’re doing with it, and so fingers crossed I’ll be able to tell the story for many, many years to come.”
Cavill is very excited for cinemagoers to see the two iconic superheroes onscreen together for the first time and insists director Zack Snyder’s vision for his Superman and Ben Affleck’s Batman is something very special.
He explained: “It’s Zack Snyder, so it’s going to be a visual spectacle, and its cinematic history. Fingers crossed it turns out to be as exciting as I think it is.” – BANG!
