A CAR crashed into a restaurant in Serusop. The incident occured at 4.30pm yesterday.
No one was injured in the mishap.
The owner of the restaurant, Yussof bin Wahid, who was upstairs in his home, said he heard a loud bang and rushed downstairs and saw that a vehicle had crashed into his cafe.
According to Yussof, the incident happened when two vehicles crashed each other outside resulting in one of the cars hitting a parked vehicle causing it to crash into the cafe.
Fortunately, no one was sitting where the car crashed in.
The restaurant has been in operation for 25 years and according to the owner this was the first time such an incident has happened.
He further added that the damage to the wall and furniture amounted to about $3,000.
The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) when contacted confirmed receiving a report about the incident and an investigation is underway.
