BRUNEI Shell Marketing Company Sendirian Berhad (BSM) has put to rest allegations of fuel contamination at a retail station that were circulated in social media.
Upon launching an investigation and carrying out tests on the station, BSM said results show that fuels were within the specification.
“Any claims of product contamination are taken very seriously. We have not recently received any reports that have been formally lodged on any reservations of fuel qualities from any retail stations,” BSM said in a statement, adding that the company ensures its products are of the highest standard.
BSM would like to assure members of the public that fuel supplied and sold at retail stations undergo product quality checks in accordance to established standards.
Members of the public with any concerns with regards to suspected fuel contamination and any other enquiries have been advised to contact BSM’s hotline at 2774277 or e-mail BSM-External-Affairs@shell.com.
