TWENTY students from Singapore, who participated in The Brunei-Singapore Student Leaders Adventure Camp (BSAC) 2014, bid farewell yesterday.
The six-day camp consisted of visits, study tours and physically and mentally challenging activities.
Hajah Ainah binti Haji Ibrahim, the Head of the International Unit, Department of Schools, was present at the airport.
The BSAC 2014 camp aimed to forge new friendships across national borders through team-building games and outdoor activities. The camp also served as a platform to educate students on environment conservation, preserving biodiversity and preserving the cultural heritage of one’s country.
Student exchanges through adventure camps are a key area of cooperation in the Memorandums of Understanding on Educational Cooperation that were agreed upon between Brunei Darussalam’s and Singapore’s education ministries in February 2006.
