A 49-YEAR-OLD local man and his 24-year-old son were allegedly assaulted by a group of men in the Malaysian state of Limbang, Sarawak yesterday, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) confirmed.
A picture of the alleged incident at Kg Tedungan, Limbang near the Brunei Darussalam border went viral on social media and WhatsApp yesterday.
The pictures that made the rounds yesterday showed the man lying on the ground after being allegedly beaten up by a group of men and also showed what was believed to be his car being smashed.
The police said the local man of Dusun ethnicity lodged a report at the Limau Manis Police Station yesterday and added that further investigations are being carried out.
