THE Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Laila Diraja Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Hazair bin Hj Abdullah, received a courtesy call from Dr Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Harasi, Chairman of Public Authority of Radio and Television of the Sultanate of Oman and the delegation accompanying him.
Dr Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Harasi is leading a delegation for the Oman Culture Week, which is currently being held at the International Convention Centre, Berakas, from November 11-15. During the courtesy call, both Pehin Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Hazair and Dr Abdullah exchanged views on enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the areas of culture and heritage.
Also present were Al-Sheikh Hamad Hilal Al-Mamari, Undersecretary of Heritage and Culture at the Ministry of Heritage and Culture; Abdallah Zahar Al-Adawi, Director of the Office of the Public Chairman of the Public Authority for Radio and Television; Darwish Said Al-Hamadani, Director of Finance Department, Ministry of Heritage and Culture; Yousof Ibrahim Al-Bulushi, General Director of Organisations and Cultural Relations and Dr Hussain Hamood Al-Abri.
Also in attendance were the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashil Al-Maskari; Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Hamid bin Haji Mohd Jaafar; and Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Awg Hj Mohd Noor Jusmin bin Hj Abd Samad as well as officials from both countries.
