MORE than 200 job vacancies from a total of 15 companies are up for grabs at the upcoming Brunei Mini Job Fair 2014 @ Beliat, which will be held from October 1 to 2, 2014 at Pusat Insani, Seria, from 9am to 4pm.
The event will be launched by Belait District Officer, Awang Haji Haris bin Haji Othman.
Walk-in interviews will be held, and job seekers are urged to bring with them their personal documents. Job seekers are also urged to dress smartly as they will have to sit for undergoing the interviews.
The fair is organised by Local Employment and Workforce Development Agency (APTK), Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with the Department of Economic Planning and Development (JPKE), to help reduce the number of local job seekers and encourage them to work in the private sector.
During the event, APTK will provide services such as registration and renewal of the APTK card, course registration, career guidance, CV-making guides as well as information on worker’s rights.
To avoid large number of visitors at the fair, job seekers who are not yet registered at APTK are urged to register early at the APTK headquarters at the Ministry of Home Affairs building in the capital, or at the Labour Department’s branches in other districts.
