BRUNEI Darussalam’s contingent to the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea received a warm reception in a welcoming ceremony at the Games Village yesterday. Together with Mongolia, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq, Brunei Darussalam contingent witnessed a modern dance by Korean Youth followed by the welcoming remark from the Mayor of the Games Village Elisa Lee. There was also a flag hoisting ceremony for all the five nations. Brunei’s fencing and sepak takraw athletes will start their competition by Sept 20, taekwondo (Sept 30) and karate (Oct 2).
