BRUNEI Methanol Company Sdn Bhd (BMC) held an appreciation ceremony for eight students from the University of New South Wales and University of Western Australia who were attached with the company.
The students completed a two-month attachment programme with BMC, marking the completion of their course. BMC has continuously supported technical education in Brunei, which is also part of its corporate and social responsibility.
The event began with a speech by Marjory Toidy, BMC Human Resource Manager and Takayuki Miyamoto, BMC Executive Officer.
The students, during their presentation, highlighted their experiences and lessons learned during the course of their attachment.
The event ended with a presentation of certificates by Takayuki Miyamoto to the attachment students.
To date, the company has received 60 industrial attachment students since year 2010.
