A HANDING over of donation to charitable bodies and for meaningful causes marked the final day of the Brunei Edutainment Wonderland (BEW) 2014.
The Brunei Edutainment Wonderland was an educational themepark consisting of entertaining and educational activities such as sports competitions and skills camp.
The event was also a platform for members of the public and companies alike to adopt the act of recycling thanks to the joint collaboration between D’Sunlit and Daikyo’s Let’s Recycle Challenge, an ongoing competition that took place during the course of BEW 2014.
Members of the public also did their part in supporting meaningful causes such as the ‘Tree of Hope’ for Yayasan Kanser Kanak-Kanak (YASKA) where visitors were welcome to give donations and write encouraging messages and hang them on the ‘Tree of Hope’ which also helped to raise funds.
The public was also encouraged to learn more about recycling at the D’Sunlit and Daikyo’s Let’s Recycle Challenge. The total amount received from the recycled goods was donated to SMARTER Brunei.

The theme park featured static and animatronics dinosaur replicas set in the backdrop of their natural habitat.
