FARAH Lisa binti Farid was among the 260 participants of the various training programmes conducted by TelBru over the last six months.
In yesterday’s graduation ceremony, she received the Best Student Award for the Supervisory Certification programme.
She said that the programme was specifically designed for supervisors and selected officers to improve the quality of their work and knowledge on topics such as how to manage their subordinates and manage responsibilities.
“Over the past six months, we have learnt from a number of workshops and were given assignments and examinations.
“It was also encouraging to oneself to achieve success even if it was hard. I feel honoured and grateful to TelBru for providing this motivation in the scope of our job management areas,” Farah added.
Another Best Student awardee, Mohd Saifuldin bin Mohd Kamaruddin who participated in the Vendor Technician Category programme, expressed his happiness at receiving the award.
“It was a great opportunity to excel in the programme and enhance my skills as well. The achievement that I was awarded with today was made through a combination of hardwork, effort and determination throughout the programme,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Abdul Mushawir bin Haji Abdul Malik, who received the Best Student Award for Certified Hands-on Fibre Installation for FTTH Programme, mentioned that the four-day course was not as easy as it sounds.
He revealed that the first day was more on theoretical approaches whilst the second day was all hands-on activities and various practicals.
During the third day, both were combined together with futher practices on FTTH.
“The final day was the examination, both written and practical where it was time for us to excel and and put the knowledge we gained throughout the programme into full use,” he added.
