THIRTY-SIX students from Year Seven to Year 10 as well as those enrolled in the BTEC Pearson International Programme at the Berakas Secondary School were awarded best students awards during a ceremony held yesterday at the school’s Anggerek Hall.
“Students not only achieved excellence through their own efforts as well as that of teachers, but parents also played an important role in shaping their future. Above all the success of the students came from themselves,” the school’s principal, Liew Yong Kim, said in his welcoming remarks.
He also mentioned that the students’ success is a success for the school as well, and it is hoped that their achievements will act as a catalyst for other students to enhance their academic performance in the future.
The presentation of the awards was conducted by the school’s principal.
