BAKTI Dewa School (Jerudong) recently visited the Malay Technology Museum at Kota Batu.
The trip was headed by the school’s Executive Director, Pg Anak Hafeezah Syukrina binti Pg Anak Hj Hassanuddin and head teacher Maribel J Tagaban.
The museum features life-like models of people and the way of life in ancient times displaying how the locals used different tools in boat-making, fishing, metalwork and gold smiting.
The goal of this trip was for the students to learn and observe the simple and ingenious tools used, the lifestyle of their ancestors and how the Bruneians have advanced in technology throughout the years.
The school thanked the museum’s Head Attendant Noornazirah binti A Matasim and Acting Head of the Wildlife Division at the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, Haji Muhammad Faisal bin Haji Noridin, for making the visit possible.
