THE Brunei-Japan associations in the country recently gathered for a friendly bowling match organised and sponsored by the Brunei Association of Japan Alumni (BAJA).
Held at MegaStrike Bowling Centre, the friendly match aimed at promoting network between the organisations and bringing the spirit of goodwill and friendship between the Brunei-Japan associations and the Japanese community in Brunei
Present at the event were Dr Fadil Galawat, the Vice-President of BAJA, and members of the Brunei-Japan Friendship Association, Brunei-Japan Friendship Association UBD-Chapter, Southeast Asia Youth Programme, Japan Association, Embassy of Japan as well as BAJA.
A few of the Japanese exchange students from Kagawa University were also invited to partake in the bowling friendly match.
According to a statement, the players were divided into six teams. The winning group was Team Budou with a total score of 1202 points.
A participant from the Japanese Embassy in Brunei Darussalam was selected as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) with the highest individual score of 280 points.
