IN LINE with the Baiduri Bank’s objective to provide easy access and convenience to customers, the bank recently rolled out an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at The Core, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), a press release stated.
Students and faculty members from UBD and nearby ITB, as well as residents around the area can now enjoy better convenience using the ATM for cash withdrawals, bill payments as well as prepaid top ups for mobile phones, electricity and Baiduri MasterCard Cashcard.
“Having an ATM at UBD is part of our e-channel expansion plan and serves our growing student segment base,” said Ms Jazline Rose bte Dolamit, e-Banking senior officer.
Elaborating on the expansion, she said, “As students are the most mobile consumer base, having an ATM at UBD fulfils our objective of providing convenient access to our banking facilities,” she added.
Additionally, students can sign-up for Baiduri’s ‘4U Value Pack’ Student Account which was specifically designed with students needs in mind. Available to students aged between 12 and 29, the package is designed to meet the needs of students studying in Brunei or overseas.
It offers ease of banking via electronic channels as well as fee waivers or discounts on services such as overseas ATM cash withdrawals, processing fees on bank reference letters for student visa applications, funds transfers and financing.
Parents of the account holders can also apply for loans and financing to help meet expenses related to their child’s education, such as tuition fees, travel costs or purchase of laptops, stationery or books.
Baiduri Bank currently has 46 ATMs at 30 different locations conveniently situated throughout the country.
Customers can also perform their banking transactions via Internet banking, which is also available as a mobile app.
