WHILE the month of Rabiulawal has just passed, the celebration to mark the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) still continued yesterday with a Maulud Nabi ceremony organised by the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC).
The ceremony took place at the Law and Courts building at Jalan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha. Present as the guest of honour was the Attorney General, Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Hayati binti Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Salleh.
The highlight of the event was a religious talk delivered by Dr Haji Hambali bin Haji Jaili, Dean of Students at the Religious Teachers’ University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), emphasising on this year’s Maulud Nabi theme, ‘Loving the Prophet (pbuh)’.
The ceremony continued with a gift presentation to a retired officer, and was followed by a recitation of Zikir by the AGC’s officers and staff. The annual event was organised by the AGC’s religious ceremonial committee.
