HER Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, graced the opening of the ‘Around the World in 40 Minutes’ exhibition organised by Stella’s School at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas.
Upon arrival, Her Royal Highness was greeted by Deputy Minister of Education Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusoff bin Haji Ismail and Principal of Stella’s School, Lise K Lee.
The exhibition, which displays facts and findings about various countries at booths manned by different classes, was made possible through the hardwork and dedication of students who conducted thorough research on their assigned countries across the globe.
The event is the conclusion of the students’ year-long journey to learn more about the world especially the customs and culture of different nations. Term one focused on Brunei Darussalam while the remaining terms involved the study of other countries. The project included historical, geographical and cultural topics.
Her Royal Highness also watched traditional dance performances of selected countries.
A spokesperson for the organiser, Donna, expressed her appreciation to various embassies for their support and assistance in making the event a success. Some have even provided materials required for the exhibition.
Foreign dignitaries and distinguished guests also attended the event.
