Los Angeles (dpa) – The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will arrive by the end of October in 36 additional countries and territories across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa, the company announced Monday.
The phones, which are already available in 69 countries, will hit store shelves on October 17 in China, India and Monaco, the company said.
Fans of iPhone in Israel will have to wait until October 23. On October 24, the coveted devices will be available in the Czech Republic, French West Indies, Greenland, Malta, Poland, Reunion Island and South Africa.
On October 30 the phones will be available in Bahrain and Kuwait, and on October 31 the phones are scheduled to arrive in 23 countries including Greece, Hungary, Mexico, South Korea and Thailand.
The iPhone 6 includes a 12-centimetre touch screen, while the iPhone 6 Plus boasts a 14-centimetre screen, both much larger than the 10-centimetre display on its predecessor, the iPhone 5S. Both devices carry improved cameras.
