TWENTY-ONE aspiring coaches including one from Indonesia attended the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) ‘C’ certificate coaching course organised by the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) for the third and final class of 2014 yesterday.
The ‘C’ certificate coaching course is aimed at developing coaches’ basic techniques and skills in football.
They will also learn to organise, direct and conduct basic coaching practices and after receiving the minimum 85 hours of lessons in practical and theory, participants will be assessed on their practical coaching abilities and knowledge of the laws of the game.
The course was conducted by coaching instructor, Stephen Ng Heng Seng who is also the Senior Staff Coach in NFABD.
NFABD has already produced 44 ‘C’ certified coaches after the previous courses and five of them were already ‘B’ certified.
