AN EXECUTIVE Programme on Advanced Strategic Negotiation concluded on October 23 at The Empire Hotel & Country Club.
The three-day programme was a joint collaboration between the Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Advan-cement (ILIA) of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), The Linden Group and CMPartners.
Among the 15 participants were Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UBD, Dr Azman Ahmad, along with deputy permanent secretaries, directors and senior officials of government ministries.
The programme was designed to incorporate new elements such negotiation conflict management, strategic communication and relationship management through practical methods and tools developed and tested in years of practice.
The programme also exposed participants to improved negotiation tools designed to benefit organisations and the society.
Through this professional approach, dynamic leaders are expected to develop their skills and knowledge, contributing positively to Vision 2035.
The programme was packaged and facilitated by Tom Schaub, Managing Partner of CMPartners, with the slogan “You have the power to change”.
Schaub has worked with the UN Special Envoy for Peace to Burundi, World Bank, World Health Organisation (WHO), Organisation of African Unity (OAU), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Harvard Negotiation Project.
