THE Ministry of Education through the Department of Examinations has announced the results of the Primary School Assessment (PSR) 2014. Out of 6,349 candidates who sat for the exam, 5,364 or 84.49 per cent obtained A-D grades for all the five subjects. From there, 4,060 candidates or 63.95 per cent scored A-C grades for all the five subjects.
Forty schools achieved 100 per cent A-D grade passes in all the five subjects where 22 were government schools (including five Arabic schools) and 18 private schools.
Meanwhile, 65 schools have shown an increase within the range of 0.35 per cent to 50 per cent, while another 21 schools had similar performance like last year.
Six-hundred-and-sixty-two candidates or 10.42 per cent have scored excellent results, obtaining A grade in all five subjects, out of which 316 candidates were from the government schools.
Students can obtain their result slips at their respective schools. For private candidates, they can get it from the Department of Examinations during office hours.
