THE Media In-Service Centre (MiSC), Ministry of Education, yesterday received a delegation of 30 senior officers from Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia and Singapore who are in the country for a four-day visit in the country. They are currently in the country for the 6th Trilateral (Malaysia-Brunei-Singapore) Leadership Development Programme (LDP).
According to a press release, the visit to MiSC began with a briefing on the background, roles and achievements of the centre. The briefing was given by Dr Habibah binti Sion, Assistant Director, Human Resource Development Division at the Ministry of Education.
The visit is part of the programme for the three-country participants in providing better insights into one of the government ministries.
MiSC is the Ministry of Education’s critical building block in the transformation of education through e-Hijrah in Brunei Darussalam. With a vision to be a world-class digital learning hub for the Ministry of Education, MiSC endeavours to bring together technology and the values of MIB to develop high quality interactive learning media to empower teachers and assist in catalysing national economic development.
The 6th LDP delegation also toured of the facilities and infrastructure at MiSC and use products of the centre including game-based learning.
