THE OIC International Business Centre in cooperation with the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), a subsidiary of OIC and Association of Muslim World Business Malaysia, will be staging the 5th OIC World BIZ & Muslim World BIZ event.
The event, entitled ‘Business and Investment Zone’ will be held on the November 10-14, at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
With its theme ‘Towards Excellent Global Economies’, the event is recognised as one of the most efficient and powerful Muslim World trade platform attracting participants from all over the world.
At the exhibition halls, there will be a total of 1,200 booths displaying products and services of trade, education and tourism industries from over 50 countries.
To kick off the event, the inaugural Round Table Talk 2014 of ‘Movers and Shakers’ of the Muslim World Economy will congregate at Hall A, Tun Dr Ismail PWTC on November 10. Some 200 exclusive business leaders from all over the world will be joining the Round Table Talk 2014.
From November 10-11, the 3rd OIC Higher Education Conference will be held at Hall B, Tun Dr Ismail PWTC, with participation of delegates from over 20 countries.
On the second day, 3rd OIC-Asia Trade and Economic Forum 2014 will be held from November 11-12, at Tun Hussein Onn Hall A & B. Prominent figures from OIC countries and Asia will be presenting and discussing issues on opportunities, bilateral trade and investment between OIC member countries and Asia. The Minister of International Trade and Industry Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Mustapha Mohammad will be officiating the forum.
The grand opening ceremony on November 11 at Merdeka Hall PWTC will be launched by Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak, the Prime Minister of Malaysia. The Gala Luncheon will incorporate the presentation of the prestigious award – The Jewels of Muslim World Award 2014 of which 10 prominent figures of the Muslim world are amongst the recipients.
THE 3rd World Islamic Tourism Conference from November 11-12, will be officiated by the Minister of Tourism Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri bin Abdul Aziz at Tun Ismail A PWTC. Some 400 delegates from 25 countries will be attending the conference.
The whole event comprises of seven components – three exclusive shows (Trade, Education and Tourism), four forums and conferences (Trade & Economy, Higher Education, Islamic Tourism and Round Table Talk).
The exhibition halls open from 10am to 7pm and the conference sessions starts at 9am to 5pm.
