MORE than 400 pilgrims attended an Umrah briefing conducted by Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad (DHSB) at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas prior to their journey to the holy city in December.
Delivering the briefing was Pengiran Haji Ibrahim bin Pengiran Haji Bakar, Head of Haj and Umrah Department of DHSB while the briefing on the Penghayatan Umrah was delivered by an officer from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
“We are working closely with the Brunei Darussalam Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to seek the latest information and development about the Middle East Respiratory Coronavirus (MERS-CoV),” said an officer who will be leading the pilgrims.
So far, the condition in both the Holy City of Makkah and Madinah is fine and umrah pilgrims are advised to get their vaccination before departing the Sultanate. Those on medication are advised to bring along their prescription and take their medicines on time.
The main objective was to highlight the basic preparation required while providing a better understanding on what to expect in performing their Umrah.
For the month of December, DHSB will be sending over 600 pilgrims to perform the Umrah. They are also offering the Umrah Plus Packages for two different destinations; Umrah Plus Dubai and Abu Dhabi and Umrah Plus Istanbul.
DHSB wishes to inform the public that the year 2015 Umrah packages schedule has been released. For further enquiries, the public can visit the head offices at The Airport Mall or call at 2231964/2231965.
