SOME 40 individuals attended a full-day workshop on Professional Image Branding by Mary Anni M at Badi’ah Hotel yesterday, giving them an insight into personal development and maintaining their image professionally – particularly for those working in corporate or government organisations.
Brought to Brunei by Confex, Mary Anni is on her second visit to the country – her first being at the 3rd Annual Executive Secretaries and Administrative Professionals Conference earlier this year.
The workshop was attended by front-liners working in sales and marketing, corporate communications, researchers and human resources.
Mary Anni delved into various stages of personal development and stressed on the significance of maintaining one’s image publicly, which essentially reflects their level of professionalism in their respective fields of work.
From discussing the importance of minor details in personal representation, the image consultant also underscored the importance of maintaining a professional representation in social media, adding that “it is the medium in which big organisations will take into consideration in measuring one’s level of professionalism”.
“Be careful what you post on social media,” she said. “Your online presence and your true self need to be aligned.”
As a master trainer, Mary Anni is dedicated to providing professional knowledge, transferring core skills and catering valuable resources to image consultants looking to begin and grow their own successful image consulting business.
Confex’s next event is the “Program Jati Diri Belia”, a motivational workshop for youth, next month.
