MORE than 20 entrepreneurs will showcase products and goods in a three-day charity bazaar, jointly hosted by Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and the Kampong Keriam Village Consultative Council (MPK Keriam).
The announcement was made during a press briefing yesterday by Orang Kaya Jaya Putera Dato Paduka Haji Muhammad Taha bin Abdul Rauf, the Penghulu of Mukim Keriam and co-chairman of the event, who also said that the bazaar was a good platform to promote prudent spending while contributing to charity.
Fifteen per cent of the proceeds will be donated to the Tutong District Fund for Orphans, while another 15 per cent will go into the MPK Keriam Fund for the financing of village events.
An opening ceremony will take place at 8am tomorrow in the Tutong Civic Centre Complex, after which the bazaar will run until Sunday, from 7am-9pm.
The last day will also feature a 20km cycling activity led by the Sembatang Team, in which everyone is welcome to take part.
