GOODS worth over $10,000 in goods were stolen from a shop selling mobile phones, mobile phones accessories and other related items in Seria yesterday.
Desmond Chua, the owner of the mobile phone shop, said his staff raised the alarm after realising that the padlock had been tampered with at around 8.45am on Friday.
When the police arrived, they found that three security cameras had their lenses sprayed with black paint.
According to him, this was the second time that his shop had been robbed.
Meanwhile, another theft was reported at a fastfood restaurant in Seria, where a donation box went missing.
The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) confirmed receiving reports of the thefts yesterday morning and is currently carrying out investigations. Anyone with information on the theft cases can reach the police via Hotline 993.
